“Tucson police officers are looking for a female with red hair in her teens to 20’s driving a black 2002-2010 Nissan Altima. The woman is a suspect in a hit-and-run incident that left a cyclist seriously injured Friday evening.

Authorities report, that at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, a 23-year-old man was riding his bicycle north on Swan Road between Camp Lowell and the Rillito River bridge when he was struck by a vehicle. He suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local trauma center.

According to police, witnesses say the suspect’s vehicle is a black 2002-2010 Nissan Altima with extensive windshield and front-end damage. The driver is described as a female in her late teens to mid-20’s, with red hair.

Authorities say, the vehicle was last seen fleeing the scene, heading east on River Road from Craycroft Road.

The Tucson Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME.”
